Hotelpedia is an independent editorial publication. This page sets out the standards we hold ourselves to.

Independence

Editorial coverage on Hotelpedia is never for sale. Hotels cannot pay to be included, ranked, awarded or reviewed. Sponsored content, when it appears, is clearly labelled and produced separately from editorial.

Sourcing

Every hotel and destination entry is built from multiple sources: on-the-ground visits where possible, direct correspondence with operators, official brand and government references, and reputable trade press. We prefer primary sources and we cite them where useful.

Reviews & rankings

Editorial reviews are written by named contributors after a stay or site visit. Rankings are compiled from a public methodology combining editorial score, awards and certifications, guest sentiment and objective attributes — never from paid placements.

Corrections

If we get something wrong, we fix it and note the change. Write to support@hotelpedia.in with the subject line Correction.

Conflicts of interest

Contributors disclose relationships that could reasonably be seen as a conflict — past employment with a brand, familial ties, hosted stays. Hosted stays are labelled at the top of any resulting piece.
